This was a complicated brief for a small garden. The Hove couple knew they wouldn't be staying at their house for much longer, but wanted their garden to enhance their last summer there... and make the property more attractive for rental or sale. The garden needed to be cat, snail and novice-gardener proof! The solution was a low-maintenance gravel-garden to make the space clean and open, with driftwood screening. The steps were replaced. Costs were kept down by the couple doing much of the groundwork, and a phased delivery helped them manage the budget.
